Reduce the amount of irregular migration and connected organised crime activities by building resilience to narratives disseminated by criminal gangs and traffickers.
APPROACH
We have established connections with individuals and communities who have been victims of human trafficking and who can highlight the harsh realities of the treatment that have suffered, deterring others from taking a similar path.
RESULTS
Activity is ongoing, but messages are reaching vulnerable individuals from irregular migration hot spots. These audiences are actively engaging with the project and are being connected with support and alternatives to irregular migration.
